Pediatric Speech

Speech therapy that meets kids where they are

Warm, playful, and evidence-based care for children — building communication confidence one session at a time. Tell us what you're noticing and we'll help you figure out the right next step for your child.

What we work on

Pediatric areas of focus

Comprehensive support across the communication skills that help children connect, learn, and thrive.

Early Language Delays

Support for toddlers and preschoolers whose first words and sentences are slow to come, building the foundation for everything that follows.

Speech Sound Production

Targeting the sound errors and patterns that make a child hard to understand, so they can be heard clearly by family, teachers, and friends.

Receptive Language

Strengthening how a child understands and processes language — following directions, answering questions, and making sense of what they hear.

Expressive Language

Building vocabulary, grammar, and sentence structure so children can put their own ideas, needs, and stories into words.

Social Communication

Practical skills for connecting with peers and adults — conversation, play, and reading the social cues that make interaction work.

Autism & AAC

Individualized support for children on the autism spectrum, including augmentative and alternative communication when speech alone isn't enough.

The approach

How therapy works for children

In your home or online

We come to you — in person across Northwest DC, or digitally anywhere in the District. Either way therapy happens in the environment where your child already plays, eats, and talks, so new skills transfer to real life instead of staying in a clinic room.

Family-centered

Parents and caregivers are part of the process. Every family leaves with strategies they can weave into daily routines between sessions.

Individualized plans

A holistic approach: each child receives individualized attention and a tailored treatment plan built around their own strengths and needs.
